Each apple tree will be espalier trained by Phil Hucks of the Orchard Trust, following expert Sue Gibson’s directions. A contemplative, sheltered space will be formed, which can also be used by the Orchard Trust residents and visitors as an outdoor learning space. The trees were donated for this project by Trust Juice, which supports traditional orchards in Gloucestershire.
